7/1起在台灣大寬頻「new TV」開播

　　亞洲第一個24小時不間斷的體育頻道—ASN全美運動網HD頻道(以下簡稱ASN)即將在台灣大寬頻數位平台「new TV」正式首播，點燃美式運動在台發燒的第一把火焰。

　　ASN獨家轉播美國最受歡迎的體育賽事，包含美國體壇之王—國家美式足球聯盟(NFL)、美國運動界的新寵—全美賽車協會(NASCAR)、冰球界歷史最悠久的北美職業冰球聯盟(NHL)與美國大學運動協會(NCAA)各項精彩賽事。ASN為了提供給觀眾更多元的選擇，特地引進其他精彩節目，如：飄移賽車(Formula Drift)、職業鬥牛與各類極限運動。ASN全年直播之場次高達500多場，要帶給台灣體育癡、運動迷最不一樣的高畫質、高品質賽事饗宴。

　　根據最新一期的《SportsPro》雜誌報導，NFL聯盟價值高達驚人的45億美元，成為世界體壇品牌的第一把交椅，NASCAR也以19億美金身價位居第四名。ASN很榮幸可以獨家呈現NFL與NASCAR精彩賽事，讓台灣觀眾在家也可以享受美國最頂尖的體壇盛會。

　　ASN在台發行權由杰徳創意影音獨家取得，同樣身為瘋狂體育迷的杰德執行長林志杰對ASN的開播也感到非常興奮：「在與香港YesTV集團合作之下，杰德在過去兩年已經獨家提供NFL球賽轉播，但是採用HD高畫質轉播完整的NFL球季還是台灣媒體界的第一次。在民眾多年的期盼之下，台灣數位電視產業終於開始發展，我們期待運動賽事可以成為推動數位電視化的一股助力」。

All Sports Network Launches in Taiwan on TWM Broadband’s digital CATV service – “new TV”

The first 24hr HD sports channel—All Sports Network (ASN) will be on new TV digital channel 203, inspiring the American sports mania in Taiwan.

ASN broadcasts the most popular sports in America exclusively, including the biggest and most valuable professional leagues—National Football League (NFL), NASCAR, National Hockey League (NHL) and NCAA college basketball, football and other sports. In order to provide more varied programs, ASN also broadcasts other exciting sports, such as Formula Drift, Pro Bull Riding and extreme sports. With over 500 live games or events per year, ASN brings to the Taiwan audience the most and best of American Sports.

According to the latest issue of SportsPro Magazine, NFL is ranked as the world’s most valuable sports property, with a value of US$4.5billion. NFL will be broadcast live in HD for the first time in Taiwan in September. Now Taiwan audience can enjoy all the top American sports events at the comfort of their living rooms.

Portico Media acts as the exclusive distributor for ASN in Taiwan.  “Working along with Yes TV of HK, we have brought NFL to Taiwan for the past two years, but this is the first time the entire NFL season will be broadcast in its entirety and in HD.  After many years of anxious anticipation, Taiwan digital transformation is taking place, and we expect sports to be the main driver,” says Jay Lin, Managing Director of Portico Media.
