Exclusive Taiwan Distribution of AFP Video Secured by Portico Media

杰德創意影音日前已於與法國新聞社簽約，正式取得台灣獨家發行法新社影音內容的授權。法新社是全球第一家通訊社，目前是世界第三大通訊社。

法新社挾帶著其過去的媒體經驗跨足影音產業，目前全球有30個製產單位生產大量的影音內容給內容生產者與其他廣播媒體機構。

 法新社所提供之內容極具廣度與深度，可為台灣的專業媒體注入新血。報導者與內容生產者可以透過網路輕易地搜尋或觀賞影音，並且可將素材融入

工作當中。法新社也將以多種形式的內容提供給讀者。

Taipei, Taiwan - July 22, 2010 – Portico Media has signed an agreement to become the exclusive Taiwan distributor for video content from Agence France-Presse (AFP). AFP is one of the three largest international news agencies, and was the world’s first.

 AFP now brings its unparalleled experience to video, and its 30 production units around the world produce vast amounts of footage for use by content producers and broadcasters.

 The breadth and depth of content available from AFP presents a great opportunity for media professionals in Taiwan. Reporters and other content producers can search and watch footage via a convenient Web interface and then incorporate it into their work. AFP content is available in multiple formats.

 “There are over 8 channels in Taiwan devoted entirely to news reporting but very little of the reporting includes current international news.  Through this partnership with AFP, we hope we can find ways to keep the Taiwanese audience more informed with global news as Taiwan improves its internationalization process,” says Jay Lin, Managing Director of Portico Media.
