　What I can say:  All HD, All Tapeless, and going to 28 affiliate stations and all done with a broadcast center of 10 people.

　我還能說甚麼呢？全部HD、全部無帶化以及28個附屬電視台而這些都是由一個十人所組成的轉播中心完成。

【JAPAN’S CABLE INDUSTRY: ITSCOM】

　Visited one of the cable companies (CATV) in Japan, ITSCOM.  The day before we visited, they launched their VOD service.  Their coverage is along the train track going from Tokyo to Yokohama which is one of the richest areas in the Tokyo region.  This is eye-opening because I was able to compare the cable companies we work with in Taiwan with the ones in Japan.  They were very open to show and explain to us their business model.  On their pay channel platform, they also carry one of the channels we are distributing in Taiwan: SciFi.  Established good contact with their senior management and look forward following up with them.

　We visited one of the biggest post-production companies in Japan, Omnibus.  We listened to two producers talk about the making of their HD commercials and short movies.  The list of state of the art equipment at Omnibus is nothing short of mind-boggling.  Omnibus has 3 offices and one of the directors for the Sony Bravia CM gave us a run-down of how he did the commercial.  Also, he also showed us two short films that he did: one shot entirely in snow and the other during nighttime and very fast action.  I think the point here was to show the capability of the Sony HD cameras, and I must admit that it is quite amazing.

杰德創意執行長林志杰受邀擔任開南大學資訊學院 資訊傳播學系之訪評委員，以其在教學、研究以及實務界方面的豐富經驗，來幫助開南大學資訊傳播學系更上層樓。 林執行長以往就曾多次與開南大學合作，擔任過影片徵選評審、講師等等，未來更期盼能與開南大學或其他台灣大專院校進一步合作，成為實務與學術界間產學合作的典範。

　杰德創意影音管理林志杰執行長於10月底受邀至《皮克斯動畫20年》分享對於動畫電影發行與行銷的自身經驗，《皮克斯動畫20年》在台展出近三個月，特別為關心動畫產業人士舉辦多場深入講座，滿足動畫愛好人士對於數位動畫產業的求知慾。

數位電視開播  娛樂個人化時代來臨

杰德創意影音管理執行長林志杰於10月中接受「中央廣播電台」的邀請，向全球各地的聽眾談論台灣目前的動畫與數位產業內容發行現況。該節目的聽眾遍佈全球，從日本、俄羅斯，一路至美國與巴西，都是中央廣播電台的收聽範圍。林執行長在節目中分享他對於台灣、中國與日本三地動畫產業合作契機的看法，相信在這三個國家的相互合作之下，動畫內容會有全新的風貌與商機出現。

曾經擔任《超人再起(Superman Return)》與《華爾奇麗雅(Valkyrie)》的好萊塢知名大製片Chris Lee先生(中文名：李公明)，於九月初受邀參加第一屆Digital Taipei《台北國際數位內容高峰論壇暨交流會》，並為大會專題演講「從好萊塢觀點看全球數位娛樂趨勢」，透過Chris Lee的深度分析，讓台灣數位產業的從事人員更加瞭解數位娛樂內容未來的趨勢與脈絡。

杰德創意為了推動南台灣數位媒體產業的發展，特別研擬「立足高雄放眼國際，提昇南區數位化電視產業全新經營模式計畫」，並獲得高雄市政府之肯定，取得地方產業創新研發推動計畫（簡稱高雄市地方型SBIR）的殊榮，預計將在大高雄地區吹起一陣數位產業風潮。
